The Autho­rized King James Ver­sion is an Eng­lish trans­la­tion of the Chris­t­ian Bible begun in 1604 and first pub­lished in 1611 by the Church of Eng­land. The Great Bible was the first “autho­rized ver­sion” issued by the Church of Eng­land in the reign of King Henry VIII.^[2] In Jan­u­ary 1604, King James I of Eng­land con­vened the Hamp­ton Court Con­fer­ence where a new Eng­lish ver­sion was con­ceived in response to the per­ceived prob­lems of the ear­lier trans­la­tions as detected by the Puri­tans. The Puri­tans were a fac­tion within the Church of England.

The king gave the trans­la­tors instruc­tions designed to guar­an­tee that the new ver­sion would con­form to the eccle­si­ol­ogy and reflect the epis­co­pal struc­ture of the Church of Eng­land and its beliefs about an ordained clergy. The trans­la­tion was by 47 schol­ars, all whom were mem­bers of the Church of Eng­land. In com­mon with most other trans­la­tions of the period, the New Tes­ta­ment was trans­lated from the Tex­tus Recep­tus (Received Text) series of the Greek texts. The Old Tes­ta­ment was trans­lated from the Masoretic Hebrew text, while the Apoc­rypha were trans­lated from the Greek Sep­tu­agint (LXX)

That the Adven­tist pio­neers laid a sure foun­da­tion, which foun­da­tion should be upheld. That the Bible and the writ­ings of Ellen G. White should be stud­ied and brought into one’s expe­ri­ence, which were given for faith and prac­tice; which if dis­re­garded will cut us off from the rem­nant of God.We also believe that the Lord is now devel­op­ing a spe­cial group within the church which will over­come the Laodicean state and will regain the Philadel­phian experience

We are liv­ing in the time of the end. The fast-​​fulfilling signs of the times declare that the com­ing of Christ is near at hand. The days in which we live are solemn and impor­tant. The Spirit of God is grad­u­ally but surely being with­drawn from the earth. Plagues and judg­ments are already falling upon the despis­ers of the grace of God. The calami­ties by land and sea, the unset­tled state of soci­ety, the alarms of war, are por­ten­tous. They fore­cast approach­ing events of the great­est mag­ni­tude. {9T 11.1}

The min­istry of Future News Canada is to pro­claim the final warn­ing mes­sage of Rev­e­la­tion 14 along with under­stand­ings of cur­rent events depicted in Daniel 11:40–45, the true inter­pre­ta­tion of the ‘daily’ in Daniel 8, 11 and 12 and the 2520 year prophecy as iden­ti­fied within the prophe­cies of the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy.  The end-​​time ful­fill­ment of Bible prophecy is no longer future — for it is tak­ing place before our eyes.  The his­toric, prophetic under­stand­ing of Seventh-​​day Adven­tism is now present truth. The­Sev­en­Thun­ders

The mighty angel who instructed John was no less a per­son­age than Jesus Christ. Set­ting His right foot on the sea, and His left upon the dry land, shows the part which He is act­ing in the clos­ing scenes of the great con­tro­versy with Satan. This posi­tion denotes His supreme power and author­ity over the whole earth. The con­tro­versy had waxed stronger and more deter­mined from age to age, and will con­tinue to do so, to the con­clud­ing scenes when the mas­terly work­ing of the pow­ers of dark­ness shall reach their height. Satan, united with evil men, will deceive the whole world and the churches who receive not the love of the truth. But the mighty angel demands atten­tion. He cries with a loud voice. He is to show the power and author­ity of His voice to those who have united with Satan to oppose the truth.  {7BC 971.3}
After these seven thun­ders uttered their voices, the injunc­tion comes to John as to Daniel in regard to the lit­tle book: “Seal up those things which the seven thun­ders uttered.” These relate to future events which will be dis­closed in their order. Daniel shall stand in his lot at the end of the days. John sees the lit­tle book unsealed. Then Daniel’s prophe­cies have their proper place in the first, sec­ond, and third angels’ mes­sages to be given to the world. The unseal­ing of the lit­tle book was the mes­sage in rela­tion to time.  {7BC 971.4}
The books of Daniel and the Rev­e­la­tion are one. One is a prophecy, the other a rev­e­la­tion; one a book sealed, the other a book opened. John heard the mys­ter­ies which the thun­ders uttered, but he was com­manded not to write them.  {7BC 971.5}
The spe­cial light given to John which was expressed in the seven thun­ders was a delin­eation of events which would tran­spire under the first and sec­ond angels’ mes­sages. It was not best for the peo­ple to know these things, for their faith must nec­es­sar­ily be tested. In the order of God most won­der­ful and advanced truths would be pro­claimed. The first and sec­ond angels’ mes­sages were to be pro­claimed, but no fur­ther light was to be revealed before these mes­sages had done their spe­cific work. This is rep­re­sented by the angel stand­ing with one foot on the sea, pro­claim­ing with a most solemn oath that time should be no longer.  {7BC 971.6}
This time, which the angel declares with a solemn oath, is not the end of this world’s his­tory, nei­ther of pro­ba­tion­ary time, but of prophetic time, which should pre­cede the advent of our Lord. That is, the peo­ple will not have another mes­sage upon def­i­nite time. After this period of time, reach­ing from 1842 to 1844, there can be no def­i­nite trac­ing of the prophetic time. The longest reck­on­ing reaches to the autumn of 1844.  {7BC 971.7}
The angel’s posi­tion, with one foot on the sea, the other on the land, sig­ni­fies the wide extent of the procla­ma­tion of the mes­sage. It will cross the broad waters and be pro­claimed in other coun­tries, even to all the world. The com­pre­hen­sion of truth, the glad recep­tion of the mes­sage, is rep­re­sented in the eat­ing of the lit­tle book. The truth in regard to the time of the advent of our Lord was a pre­cious mes­sage to our souls (MS 59, 1900).  {7BC 971.8}

The Seven Times prophecy spans an amaz­ing 2520 Years!  Also known as the ‘Scat­ter­ing and the Gath­er­ing’ prophecy, the 2520 shows that the Bible, from the begin­ning to the end, is an unques­tion­able author­ity from God!

Leviti­cus 26:28 — 34: Then I will walk con­trary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chas­tise you seven times for your sins.  And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daugh­ters shall ye eat.  And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your car­cases upon the car­cases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.  And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanc­tu­ar­ies unto des­o­la­tion, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.  And I will bring the land into des­o­la­tion: and your ene­mies which dwell therein shall be aston­ished at it.  And I will scat­ter you among the hea­then, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be des­o­late, and your cities waste.  Then shall the land enjoy her sab­baths, as long as it lieth des­o­late, and ye be in your ene­mies’ land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.

We have, as had John, a mes­sage to bear of the things which we have seen and heard. God is not giv­ing us a new mes­sage. We are to pro­claim the mes­sage that in 1843 and 1844 brought us out of the other churches. We need the Holy Spirit to kin­dle in our hearts the zeal and earnest­ness that were then seen among God’s peo­ple. I thank the Lord that there are still liv­ing a few who can remem­ber those days, and who know whereof they speak.  {RH, Jan­u­ary 19, 1905 par. 22}
